I have been through so much in such a short time that it is a bit overwhelming. I have recently lost two friends who left my life way too soon. If anything can be learned from their deaths, it is that I have to stop acting like there's always a tomorrow. I have been living in fear of criticism, failure, and disappointment. While I am still a little scared, I cannot sit back and let life pass me by.

I know my photography isn't the best and my poetry needs improvement, but it makes me happy to do it. The fact that I have the ability to do what I love and do what makes me happy is all that really matters to me.
